‘Superior’ Dejan Kulusevski hailed by national media after star Sweden showing
Dejan Kulusevski was instrumental in Sweden’s latest win, and the press in his home country have been lavishing praise on the Spurs man for his performance.
Kulusevski is superior to Sweden teammates
Sweden ran out 3-0 winners against Estonia on Monday night, getting back to winning ways after a 2-2 draw with Slovakia last week.
Dejan Kulusevski captained his country once again during this international break, and continues to flourish on the international stage.
His assist for the third goal showcased his excellent footwork and vision once more, and helped his team seal the important win.
It was enough to get a positive review from Svenska Fans, who wrote: “Did not dominate the game in the same way as against Slovakia as Estonia played more pragmatically and did not give the Tottenham star that surface.
“Was extremely close to being the scorer. Sometimes feels almost a little superior to everyone else on the field, but a little less often today.”
Chances galore for Kulusevski
Kulusevski was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet himself on the night, but had lots of chances and created opportunities for his teammates with his effective passing and good work in the box.
Swedish outlet Fotbollskanalen were impressed with Kulusevski’s work, writing: “Was very involved. Came close to making it 3-0 after dribbling past two opponents in the penalty area and unleashing a hard shot that the keeper saved for a corner.
“Had a good cross to Gyokeres who got a good position and shot. Great performance as he assisted for 3-0. Good position to make 4-0.”
Keep it up Kulu
Dejan Kulusevski is playing with so much confidence right now, and his move into a central area has allowed him to really show what he can do when he has more freedom.
When he was playing out on the right wing, he was very limited with his preference to cut inside onto his left, but now he has room to roam, he can be devastating for Spurs.
