Ludhiana: 3 municipal corporation officers booked for misappropriating Rs 3 crore

Punjab Vigilance Bureau has charged retired Superintending Engineer Rajinder Singh, Executive Engineer Ranbir Singh, and Deputy Controller Finance Pankaj Garg with misappropriating Rs 3.16 crore from Ludhiana Municipal Corporation funds. Ranbir Singh has been arrested. Investigations revealed the funds were taken under the guise of payments to Punjab State Power Corporation without proper documentation or authorization.
