Cal HC sets aside prohibitory orders near Durga Puja Carnival venue in city

The Calcutta High Court has set aside prohibitory orders placed on roads near the Durga Puja Carnival venue on Red Road. These orders were challenged by junior doctors protesting over the RG Kar incident. The state government has been organizing the Durga Puja Carnival since 2016 to showcase award-winning idols.
