Maharashtra announces big Diwali bonus for BMC employees, Asha workers and Kindergarten teachers

Just before the announcement of Maharashtra Assembly election dates, the state government declared a Rs 29,000 Diwali bonus for BMC employees and Rs 3,000 bonus for women under the Ladki Bahin Yojana. This decision follows BMC union appeals for higher bonuses. Diwali 2023 will be celebrated from November 10 to 15.
