montypenguinExciting times. Wonder what the Villa are making of all of this - they face a real danger of being usurped in the City. Wagner clearly has a vision he's committed to.
I do wonder whether we could fill a 60K stadium, maybe this is about winning the support of future generations in the City? Already stated that Man City was the template, I wonder whether they are now winning the majority of new generations support compared to United?
Anecdotally, I know a few old school friends from Stafford who take their kids to City games. When I was at school, that would have been trips to see United, or possibly Liverpool.
I think if they are not there yet, they are well on the way to being the team for kids whose parents aren't committed to a team already.
