Sensex slides 232 pts; Eurpoean mrkt advance

At 13:30 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 232.41 points or 0.28% to 81,740.64. The Nifty 50 index fell 88.90 points or 0.35% to 25,039.05.
