Seven governor-appointed MLCs sworn in ahead of Maharashtra polls announcement

Hours before the Maharashtra assembly elections announcement, seven state legislative council members, including nominees from BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP, were sworn in after approval from Governor C P Radhakrishnan. The remaining five council seats stay vacant.
