India poised to lead global 6G revolution, says Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia at WTSA

India aims to be a global leader in 6G technology, following significant progress in 5G and 4G. Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia highlighted this ambition at the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly. India seeks to contribute 10% of 6G patents and is enhancing infrastructure and policy to meet these goals, bolstered by the Bharatnet programme.
