Sensex gains 539 pts; European mkt opens higher

At 13:26 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, jumped 539.32 points or 0.66% to 81,916.20. The Nifty 50 index added 138.50 points or 0.55% to 25,102.75.
