'Terrifier 3' Debuts at No. 1 at Box Office - Opening Weekend Numbers Revealed

Terrifier 3 is on top!

The incredibly gruesome horror flick, directed by Damien Leone and featuring the killer Art the Clown, is No. 1 in North America, bringing in $18.3 million from 2,514 theaters in its opening weekend at the box office, via Variety.

Terrifier 3 has scored a B on CinemaScore, and currently has a 77% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The controversial film does not have an official rating from the Motion Picture Association.

2022’s Terrifier 2 brought in $10 million domestically and $15.7 million globally.

“This is an outstanding opening for a third episode in an indie horror series. The series is not on the level of studio horror pictures — those are bigger movies — but […] it’s a great payoff,” noted David A. Gross of movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research to Variety.
