Kenyan runner Ruth Chepngetich sets new world record at 2024 Chicago Marathon

Ruth Chepngetich has set a new world record at the 2024 Chicago Marathon. She completed the race in 2:09:56, becoming the first woman to run under 2:10. John Korir also honored his late friend by winning the men's marathon with a time of 2:02:44. The Chicago Marathon continues to be a record-setting event.
