Mumbai: IMD predicts thunderstorms in parts of city on October 14

On Sunday evening, parts of Mumbai experienced moderate rainfall due to the withdrawal of the southwest monsoon. The Met Department predicted rain or thunderstorms for Monday evening or night in some areas. A yellow alert for thunderstorms with lightning and moderate rain has been issued for Palghar, Thane, Dhule, and Nashik districts.
