The family of Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest person, who has a personal net worth of around $108 billion, are known for their lavish lifestyle which had made them media darlings. The Ambani family is famous for this pomp and extravagance as was evidenced by the opulent wedding of Anant Ambani, Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, which is reported to have cost a whopping Rs 5,000 crore.

The Ambani residence, Antilia, in Mumbai, believed to be the second most expensive private house in the world, is estimated to be valued at a mind-boggling $2 billion. But apart from owning a ultra-expensive home and their opulent spending on lavish parties, the Ambanis are also famous for their love of top-of-the-line luxury cars and other super-expensive toys like yachts and airplanes.

And seeing that it is the festive season, Mukesh Ambani and family have recently bought themselves two new ultra-expensive gifts, Boeing 737 converted into a luxury private jet, and the lates Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV. The jet alone is believed to cost a whopping $150 million (over Rs 1,261 crore).

Mukesh Ambani and family are obsessed with Rolls Royce and is always among the first to grab the latest models launched by the luxury carmaker to their extensive collection. The Ambanis’ Rolls Royce cars are often heavily personalized, and now they recently added the Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II to their garage, reportedly days before the car was officially launched in India.

The Cullinan Series II, the 10th Rolls Royce to join Ambani family’s collection, comes at a starting price tag of $1.3 million in India, but it is very likely that the one acquired by the Ambanis has been significantly modified and personalized, which would drive its price way beyond the market.

Mukesh Ambani buys Boeing 737, converts it into a luxury private jet

While private jets are a common thing among the rich, but there would probably be a handful of people in the world who own a private jet as luxurious as Mukesh Ambani has. The Reliance Industries Chairman reportedly bought a Boeing 737 which has a capacity of 230 passengers, and converted it into his private jet.

As per reports, Mukesh Ambani’s 737 private jet was customized in Switzerland where the massive aircraft underwent upgrades, including expensive cabin customizations.

Mukesh Ambani, last month, took delivery of India’s first Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 737 Max 9, making him the proud owner of the the largest aircraft in the BBJ Max family boasting a cabin floor area of of 1,120 sq ft.

The ultra-long-range Boeing 737 Max 9 has a starting price of around $118 million, and coupled with cabin customization and other upgrades, Mukesh Ambani’s private business jet is estimated to cost over $150 million, making it the most expensive private jet owned by an Indian business tycoon.
