Gems, minerals, fossils and more showcased for over six decades
TOPEKA (KSNT) - The annual Topeka Gem and Mineral show has been shining for the past 67 years.
This weekend, the Topeka Gem and Mineral Society showcased over 15 different vendors from all over the Midwest displaying all of their finest jewels and gems. The society also demonstrates sphere making and wire wrapping.
President of the society, Bradford Davenport, tells 27 News what he looks forward to every year.
"The odd things I haven't seen before. There's materials here literally from all over the world," Davenport said. "And there's always something new for me."
If you weren't able to attend todays event, that's okay. The show will be at the Agricultural Hall on Sunday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. To 5 p.m.
