EUGENE, Ore. (WCMH) -- In one of the most highly anticipated contests on the college football schedule this season, Ohio State trails Oregon, 15-14, in a Big Ten showdown of undefeated teams being broadcast on NBC4.
Entering the top three matchup at 5-0, both schools meet for just the second time at Autzen Stadium in Eugene and the first since 1967. The Buckeyes lead the series, 9-1, but the Ducks won the last showdown, 35-28, in 2021 in Columbus.
OSU quarterback Will Howard leads a multifaceted offense that features weapons like freshman wideout Jeremiah Smith and transfer running back Quinshon Judkins. The Oregon offense is led by former Oklahoma QB Dillon Gabriel, who produced 477 total yards against Michigan State last week.
