Bears G Matt Pryor, 2 Panthers fined after Sunday's fight
Bears guard Matt Pryor was fined Saturday, alongside two Panthers players, for a fight that happened Sunday after a Roschon Johnson touchdown run.
Pryor was fined $6,527 for unnecessary roughness for striking an opponent, while Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn was fined $11,817 for the same thing. Panthers linebacker D.J. Johnson was fined $6,948 for unnecessary roughness on a late hit at the end of the fight.
Horn hit Bears offensive linemen Bill Murray and Doug Kramer in the end zone. Pryor came in from his right side and punched Horn in the helmet. Johnson knocked Pryor to the ground.
Horn and Pryor were ejected from the game, and Johnson was flagged for unnecessary roughness.
Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble was also fined $17,083 for illegal use of his helmet on a pass play in which he fumbled and left the game with a concussion. Bears safety Jaquan Brisker suffered a concussion on the play that was diagnosed the next day.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence told Jaguars reporters that Caleb Williams, a fellow former No. 1 overall pick “looks great” thus far.
“Obviously it's never going to be perfect,” he said. “There's always going to be some ups and downs. I thought he's done a nice job. He's carried himself well. Seems like he's leading the team really well and they're in a good spot.”
