We only signed Pandiani, DJ Campbell and Forssell for a fee. Pandiani was shite for the 3m we paid. DJ Campbell never a Premier League player in a million years. Nafti on a free was actually decent. But we let more go than we brought in.
Looking back now we were right to be frustrated at the ownership. They really did not back us to push on. An interesting period in Blues history and a big case of what might have been. If they'd have gone for it and we had made a few better signings we really could have held our own in that league for a lot longer.
