Congress suspends Maharashtra MLA Sulbha Khodke for 'anti-party activities'
Congress suspended Sulbha Khodke, an MLA from Amravati, for six years due to anti-party activities. She cross-voted in legislative council elections, leading to the defeat of a Maha Vikas Aghadi candidate. The decision came from state Congress chief Nana Patole and Maharashtra in-charge Ramesh Chennithala. Khodke might join the Ajit Pawar-led NCP.
