My husband says he has a threesome kink even though I’ve said no countless times – now he’s trying it with my bestie too

A WOMAN has been left in turmoil after refusing to have a threesome with her husband and best friend.

Taking to Reddit, the wife revealed she was under the impression her husband wanted to sleep with her best friend – whether she was there or not despite him claiming he had a ‘threesome kink’.

She revealed she had been with her husband for over 8 years with kids and a home – making them the perfect family from the outside.

But the 26-year-old was left confused by his sexual fantasies after he began flirting with her friend.

She said: “He’s had this threesome fantasy since I told him I might be bisexual. He only watches threesome porn and talks about having a threesome occasionally when we have sex.”

The mum was open to the idea of discussing it, but has since had second thoughts.

The issue? Her husband was still going on about it with her friend despite her setting clear boundaries.

She continued: “I have a friend that we got drunk with once and things happened while we were drunk, but I decided that I did not have the confidence, mental capacity, whatever to go through with an actual threesome after that experience.

“There’s no hard feelings between any of us and I still hang out with her multiple times per week.

“Anyway, I’ve expressed the no-go threesome thing to him and he agreed to throw away the thought, but it still gets brought up by him in the bedroom sometimes.”

She said her main issue was that his fantasy always revolves around her friend they had a drunk night with and she was left wondering if it was really about having a threesome or if he just wanted to have sex with her friend.

“Recently, he’s been acting increasingly inappropriate around her. Like, talking about sexual preferences, stuff like that. He’s not being predatory towards her, because she encourages the conversations and brings them up sometimes.

“I’ve told him to stop and he thinks i’m overreacting. I guess my question is, do you think he’s just got a threesome kink or is he just looking for an excuse to f**k this specific person?” she asked.

The post went viral on the Subreddit Relationship_Advice and people were quick to share their thoughts in the comments.

One person wrote: “Even if he did have a threesome kink you’ve expressed your discomfort so the subject should be dropped. He needs to take your feelings into consideration.”

Another commented: “Fantasy of his or not. It’s totally disrespectful to keep bringing it up after you have expressed discomfort about it. That goes for your friend also. She needs to stop.”

Signs your relationship is heading for a divorce

  1. Persistent Communication Breakdowns
Constant misunderstandings, arguments, or a complete lack of meaningful conversation can signal deep-seated issues.
  2. Emotional Distance
Feeling like roommates rather than partners, with a noticeable lack of intimacy or emotional connection.
  3. Frequent Criticism and Contempt
Regularly criticising each other and showing contempt, such as sarcasm, eye-rolling, or mocking, can erode the relationship’s foundation.
  4. Unresolved Conflicts
Recurrent arguments about the same issues without any resolution can indicate deeper incompatibilities.
  5. Loss of Trust
Trust is crucial in any relationship. If it’s been broken and cannot be rebuilt, it may be a sign that the relationship is in trouble.
  6. Different Life Goals
Significant differences in future aspirations, such as career goals, lifestyle choices, or family planning, can create insurmountable divides.
  7. Avoidance
Preferring to spend time apart rather than together, whether through work, hobbies, or social activities, can indicate a desire to escape the relationship.
  8. Lack of Support
Feeling unsupported, whether emotionally, financially, or practically, can lead to feelings of isolation and resentment.
  9. Financial Disagreements
Constantly arguing about money, spending habits, or financial priorities can strain the relationship.
  10. Infidelity
Whether physical or emotional, infidelity can be a major breach of trust and a sign of deeper issues in the relationship.
  11. Changes in Affection
A noticeable decrease in affection, physical touch, or romantic gestures can indicate a loss of connection.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s a kink or not. You’re not comfortable with it. I’d be wary of the relationship between your friend and him. They both seem far too comfortable in engaging in behaviour and talk you’re not comfortable with,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “I’m 100% percent sure if you agreed to a threesome but if it were with another man and your husband, he would back out instantly. This whole thing has become about him and not something you would experience together.”

“Let him know, you’re no longer on board with the idea, and that’s the end of it. If he can’t respect that, then you’ll have to have a different conversation,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “You’ve opened a door that you’re going to have a very difficult time closing. It may boil down to you having to pick between your friend and your husband…and yes I think he has a kink and a desire to have sex with that friend and this is coming from a man.”
