Siljanovska: EU Membership for North Macedonia Must Not Be Blocked by Bulgaria’s Veto

The President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, emphasized that the historical dispute with Bulgaria should not serve as a reason for imposing a veto on the country's EU enlargement. In an interview with TV 21, she stated that the enlargement of the European Union must be based on compliance with the Copenhagen criteria, noting that the Macedonian minority is not represented in the Bulgarian Council of Minorities.
