MC chief gives last personal hearing to 33 dyeing industry in Industrial Area-A and other scattered units

Ludhiana's Municipal Corporation Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal issued final warnings to 33 dyeing unit owners to cease dumping industrial waste into civic sewer lines. Following Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) guidelines, units must adopt Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology or set up common effluent treatment plants, or face strict action. Non-compliance will lead to severe penalties.
