How to avoid long wait times at Raven's Manor during the Halloween season

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — During the Halloween season, Raven’s Manor gets busier than a tomb of restless spirits cursed to wander the mortal world in agony for eternity.

A line of walk-in customers frequently wraps around the block at Portland’s haunted-mansion themed bar each fall. On the worst days, customers can wait longer than two hours to enjoy the bar’s list of unique and inspiring cocktails. Luckily, Raven’s Manor shared a few tips with KOIN 6 for snagging a seat during the bar’s busiest month of the year. For starters, get there early.

“Generally, closer to opening time would offer the shortest amount of wait times,” Raven’s Manor said. “We do have a few events happening throughout October which will vary our availability.”

Ravens Manor is open Wednesday through Monday from 5 p.m. to midnight. While weekends are busy, Mondays and Wednesdays are typically the best days to get in without a reservation.

“We typically are busier on the weekends, and sometimes offer no guarantees later in the evening depending on how long our wait list is and how late it is,” Raven’s Manor said.

Reservations and walk-ins are limited to groups of 10 or fewer. In order to give as many people a chance to enjoy the bar as possible, all customers are limited to a two-hour experience during the Halloween season.
