Vicky Pattison reveals sad reason she didn’t invite any Geordie Shore co-stars to her epic wedding

VICKY Pattison married Ercan Ramadan in an intimate London ceremony at the end of August.

The reality TV star, who appeared on Geordie Shore from 2011 to 2014, also had an epic wedding party in Italy after officially tying the knot in London – but there were a lot of famous faces missing from the celebration.

It turns out none of Vicky’s former Geordie Shore co-stars came to her wedding.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun’s TV Mag, Vicky revealed the sad reason she chose not to invite them.

“I think over the years our lives are just, you know, very different,” she admitted, adding that she doesn’t keep in touch with any of her old co-stars.

Vicky explained that leaving the show played a huge part in this.

She said: “I moved to London about 10 years ago now. Whereas I see them doing incredible things and I’m really happy for them, our lives are very different and we’ve not stayed in touch, but I do wish them all the best, as I’m sure they do me.

“I always say that out of the whole cast, I was probably a bit like Barry from HR, who was really boring and you actually didn’t really want us to come on the night out.

“So once I left and went somewhere else, nobody felt the need to keep in touch with Barry from HR. And that’s fine, that’s alright with me.

However, she insisted there’s no bad blood between her or any of her former co-stars.

“Everybody seems to be getting the happy ever after as they deserve and that’s enough for me. I see it on Instagram and stuff. I wish them all the best,” she gushed.

Following her departure from Geordie Shore, Vicky appeared on Ex on the Beach from 2014 to 2015 and won the fifteenth series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! In 2015.

She also met her now-husband Ercan in 2019 and the pair announced their engagement in 2022 after three years of dating.

They tied the knot during an official ceremony in London, followed by a huge celebration in Italy – a place special to them because it is where they took their first holiday together – with all their friends and family gathered around.

Documenting every step of the wedding for Channel 4 has been another special touch for Vicky.

Fans will get to witness every detail of her fairy tale wedding in My Big Fat Geordie Wedding, which airs on E4 on October 16.

Vicky Pattison's Career History

Geordie Shore (2011-2014): Vicky Pattison first gained public attention as a cast member of the MTV reality series. The show, which premiered in 2011, chronicles the lives of a group of young adults living together in Newcastle upon Tyne. Vicky quickly became one of the standout personalities on the show due to her outspoken nature. She remained a key cast member until her departure in 2014.

Ex on the Beach (2014): In 2014, Vicky Pattison joined the first ever season of Ex on the Beach, an MTV reality series that brings together singles and their ex-partners for a dramatic beachside experience. She navigated complicated relationships and explosive confrontations, particularly with her ex-boyfriend, Ricci Guarnaccio, who also appeared on the series. Vicky’s time on the show was marked by her outspoken nature and candid approach to resolving past romantic issues.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! (2015): In 2015, Vicky participated in the fifteenth series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, where she emerged as the winner. Her down-to-earth personality and resilience throughout the series won over both viewers and critics, significantly boosting her popularity.

Celebrity MasterChef (2019): Vicky showcased a different side of her personality as she competed in the celebrity cooking competition. She made it to the final after demonstrating her culinary skills, and later joked that her family fell out with her because they “think I’ve been able to cook for years and have just hidden it”.

Loose Women (2015 – 2019): The celeb made appearances as a guest panelist on the show, but later criticised the production team for encouraging her to ‘push’ guests to open up on emotional topics when they were on the verge of tears. Vicky ended up in tears on the chat show herself in 2016, when she participated in an experiment about self image. The star could be seen breaking down as she listened back to a video where she listed all the negative comments she makes to herself in her mind.

This Morning: Made several guest appearances. In one she spoke about being traumatised by her break up with fiancé John Noble, and in another Vicky delved into a personal documentary she made about alcoholism.

Second-Hand Showdown: Vicky currently hosts the fashion show on Channel 4.

Speaking about the filming process in the run up to the wedding, Vicky said: “I’ve not found the process to be invasive. The way E4 and Channel 4 and the production company Hello Mary are doing it, it’s very obs-doccy.

“It’s more like: ‘Let’s follow Vicky and Ercan on this adventure, the next chapter of their lives,’ rather than being like: ‘Can you just film that again?’ or: ‘Will you just go to goat yoga’ or whatever these crazy people do who make films. So it’s been really authentic and organic.”

While speaking to The Sun’s TV Mag, Vicky also teased what the future has in store for her. She revealed that she hopes that includes kids following her decision to freeze her eggs last year.

“I think for us, we see children in our future if we’re blessed in that space,” she said, before explaining her plans to continue working on reality TV shows.

“Obviously, the wedding has taken up so much of our time and it’s still got to be paid for, which is something that everybody can really understand. So I’m working as hard as I consider I always have.

“You know, I’m very passionate about my career. I feel very lucky to like what I do. I am hoping to make more documentaries with Channel 4, potentially the honeymoon and all of that,” Vicky added.
