Vehicle fire causes lane closures on Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, lanes reopened

UPDATE, 10/10/24, 9:30 p.m. -- The lanes have been reopened.
LOUISIANA (KLFY) -- All westbound lanes are closed on I-10 due to a vehicle fire near the Whiskey Bay Highway, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and development.
According to a 4:23 p.m. update from the DOTD, the vehicle fire is near LA-975 mile marker 129 westbound.
