COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- An eruption of solar material and magnetic fields resulting in a geomagnetic storm, the aurora borealis or the northern lights -- no matter what you call it, it made for a pretty spectacular view in the sky Thursday night.
In what's been a busy year for the solar phenomena, Thursday offered another chance at seeing the northern lights.
