Krispy Kreme Is Expanding to McDonald's — and They're Giving Out Free Doughnuts This Week to Celebrate
Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be available in 1,000 McDonald’s restaurants by the end of 2024 and 12,000 locations by the end of 2026
Would you like a doughnut with your Big Mac?
Krispy Kreme doughnuts are starting to arrive at McDonald’s nationwide, so the bakery chain is giving fans a sweet freebie to celebrate the partnership.
In March, the two companies announced that McDonald's was working to carry some Krispy Kreme products. Now, select locations in Chicago will start serving doughnuts on Oct. 15 with a plan to extend to 1,000 McDonald’s restaurants by the end of 2024 and eventually to 12,000 locations by the end of 2026.
While McDonald’s customers in Chicago might be the only ones lucky enough to order chicken nuggets and doughnuts for now, fans nationwide can celebrate the collaboration. From Oct. 10 through Oct. 14, Krispy Kreme guests can get a free original glazed doughnut when they show a paper or digital receipt from a McDonald’s order placed in that same time frame.
Three types of doughnuts will be delivered daily from Krispy Kreme to McDonald’s locations: the original glazed doughnut, chocolate iced with sprinkles doughnut and chocolate iced kreme-filled doughnut.
Domino’s is also treating fans to a free bite with the reintroduction of Domino’s Emergency Pizza.

The Emergency Pizza program, which was introduced back in 2023, offers customers a free two-topping pizza “whenever they need it most," according to a press release.
From Oct. 8 through Jan. 19, customers who place an online delivery order or a digital carryout order of $7.99 or more will earn a free pizza on a future order. Customers have 30 days to use the offer in their Domino’s rewards account.
It's limited to one per person and can't be used on Halloween or New Year's Eve.
