Start-up support sessions
Our Business and Economic Support team will be offering a series of free sessions in the coming weeks to help residents with their entrepreneurial ambitions.
Already this year, the Business Support Service has been contacted by hundreds of local residents about a wide range of business ideas, including ventures in technology, creative arts, fitness, hospitality, and professional services.
There are free sessions for people throughout October and November, offering aspiring entrepreneurs a suite of expert support in areas such as budgeting, market research and legal obligations.
The full list of sessions is below. Each takes place at Central Library, with the drop-in sessions happening in the café.
For everything except the drop-ins, attendees will need to book their place before attending, and they can do so by contacting the team through the online form.
