Spurs youngster makes EA FC Team of the Week after stunning loan performance
While the Tottenham first-team didn’t exactly cover themselves in glory at the weekend, one young talent who is set for a bright future at Spurs excelled in his latest display out on loan.
A big week for Luka Vuskovic
Tottenham fans will have to wait until next summer, at the earliest, to see Luka Vuskovic in action for the Lilywhites, but it appears he will be worth the wait.
The young Croatian defender has been in great form for KVC Westerlo in the Belgian league so far this season, as he continues his development away from Spurs ahead of his official arrival at the club in 2025.
Vuskovic took his goal tally to four for the season over the weekend, after scoring a brace against Beerschot in a thrilling 2-2 draw.
Despite playing centre-half, Vuskovic found himself in the box at the right times to help his side rescue a point, and ended up being man of the match on the day.
EA recognise Vuskovic’s performance
As a reward for his incredible display at the weekend, Vuskovic also earned himself among the elite EA FC 25 Team of the Week, getting a new, upgraded card as a result.
Vuskovic’s premium card comes with an overall rating of 80. His key statistics were all boosted, too, with 78 pace, 79 shooting, 67 passing, 74 dribbling, 76 defending, and 84 physicality.
Other notable inclusions in Team of the Week for gameweek four are Robert Lewandowski, Federico Valverde, Bukayo Saka, Romelu Lukaku, Mateo Kovacic, and former Tottenham keeper, Paulo Gazzaniga.
Vuskovic has a big future
I know it’s very early days and we’ve only seen Vuskovic testing himself in Croatia, Poland, and Belgium, but all the signs point towards him being a really special talent.
I can’t wait for him to get to Spurs, and I really hope his development is looked after effectively when he does arrive. I have a feeling he could make a big and quite immediate impression on Ange Postecoglou.
