Tokyo stocks end higher on weak yen

TOKYO, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks ended higher on Thursday, as exporters were bought on the yen's weakness, but the gains were capped as investors locked in gains ahead of the release of earnings reports.

Japan's benchmark Nikkei stock index, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average, ended up 102.93 points, or 0.26 percent, from Wednesday at 39,380.89.

The broader Topix index, meanwhile, finished 5.43 poi
