Hathras stampede: Self-styled godman Surajpal appears before judicial panel in Lucknow

Self-styled godman Surajpal appeared before a judicial commission investigating the July 2 Hathras stampede, which claimed 121 lives. Though not accused, Surajpal will record his statement. The Uttar Pradesh government formed a judicial body and provided financial aid to the victims' families.
