The Best October Prime Day Deals on Bluetooth Speakers
It's the last day of October Prime Day, and there are still many deals that you can take advantage of. Some of the best discounts come from Amazon devices, but if you just want to browse around, check out my top 10 favorite deals so far. Small portable speakers with big sound start at $25
Small speakers are great for traveling, hiking, biking, or a casual hangout on the porch with friends. There are two I would recommend that I've personally used: the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 for $42.99 (originally $79.99) after using the $5 on-page coupon; and the Skullcandy Kilo for $24.99 (originally $39.99). The Tribit has a flap on the back that is ideal for wrapping around a bike handlebar. It has a 12-hour battery and 10W powerful sound for its size which you can read more about here. The Skullcandy Kilo has a 24-hour battery and is waterproof. I have it clipped on my bathroom and use it every time I shower. It has a very impressive sound, especially for its price.
Medium-size portable speakers starting at $80
These medium-size speakers are louder and have more features than the small-sized ones. If you like flashy name brands or stylish speakers, the latest Beats Pill is a great match currently at $99.99 (originally $149.95) and is the best speaker you'll find around its size on this list. The JBL Flip 6 has been around for three years now and is a classic speaker with a record-low price of $79.95 (originally $129.95). You can read more about it in PCMag's review.
Ultimate Ears (UE) has its 4th generation Boom, the Boom 4, for $110.82 (originally $149.99), which came out earlier this year. It has a 15-hour battery life, 80 watts of power, and is waterproof. I've been using their speakers for years and love how easy it is to pair with other UE speakers.
The Sony SRS-XG300 is two years old already but it's properly discounted for its age with a 58% discount bringing it to $148 (originally $349.99). It is a stereo speaker with a speakerphone and the app lets you control its EQ, battery, and LED controls. You can read more about it in PCMag's review.

Large portable speakers starting at $90
This is where things start getting serious. These larger speakers can fill a room with a powerful sound and even host a small house party. The JBL Boombox 2 is $299.95 (originally $499.95) and has been around since 2020; it's a classic boombox-style speaker that has a powerful sound. It doesn't have many features, but you're paying for a stereo portable speaker that is waterproof and can last about 24 hours. You can read more about it in PCMag's review.
If you want a large speaker that you can hook up with a mic or guitar, has 30 hours of battery, but is only water-resistant, the Sony SRS-XG500 is a great option. It is currently $248 (originally $499.99) and you can read more about it in PCMag's review.

Party-size speakers starting at $400
Party-size speakers are not for the weak. If you're serious about your speakers, I have two great recommendations depending on what you're looking for. The JBL PartyBox Stage 320 is a very fun speaker with many features geared to house parties. You can read about it in more detail in my review here. For its current $399.95 (originally $599.95) price, it's a steal and well worth the money.
If you're looking for a no-nonsense, powerful speaker that can be used on a stage or to host a large wedding or gathering, the Soundboks 4 is the monster you're looking for. I've been using this speaker to host around 20 soccer players outdoors on a soccer field and it's still an overkill. You can also hook up a microphone or instrument to it, but you won't get all of the features the PartyBox Stage 320 offers.
