FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Wednesday Evening,
A weak push of high pressure from the north will move in overnight. Winds will be light out of the northwest and then become calm overnight. With clear skies, expect a cool night with lows again in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Thursday will be an equally as beautiful day with tons of sunshine, and temps around normal in the upper 60s.
Thursday night we will have to keep an eye out for potential Aurora viewing. The Space Weather Prediction Center has already put out a Geomagnetic Storm Watch for Thursday night. With clear skies, and a still fairly thin moon, viewing should be good in the northern sky.
Temps will start in the mid to upper 30s on Friday morning, with numbers closer to 40 in town. We will have a beautiful day with sunshine and highs in the lower 70s. FFN games should be ideal too, with a jacket or sweatshirt of course. We will warm to the mid to upper 70s on Saturday with mainly sunny skies.
Changes start to return on Sunday, as there will be a slight chance of showers in the area, with highs still in the lower 70s with a stronger front set to arrive. The best chance of showers will be in the northern half of the state. Behind the front, our first real taste of Autumn will arrive, with highs in the upper 50s to near 60 with clearing skies on Monday.
Lows will drop into the 30s for Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, and climb back into the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine both days.
