Man found severely injured in hit-skip near Blacklick

BLACKLICK, Ohio (WCMH)  –  The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is investigating a hit-skip that severely injured a man east of Columbus early Wednesday morning.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. deputies responded to the 7800 block of Jefferson Run in Jefferson Township, near Blacklick, and found an unknown male laying down in the front yard of a residence. The man was suffering from serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Deputies report that parts of a white 2016 Chevrolet Impala and its side mirror were found at the scene, but it was determined that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
