Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, has been admitted to a Mumbai hospital for a routine check-up due to age-related conditions. He reassured that he remains in good spirits. Tata, who led the conglomerate from 1991 to 2012 and still oversees Tata Trusts, has made significant contributions to India's industry and philanthropy, including facilitating Apple's iPhone manufacturing in India.
