Late arvo pics tell the story

0

Hello Friends,

Got back from a trip and of course had to check the beach immediately. As the pictures show, Curly was not too badly affected by the light SE wind, but the ocean was a mess and the swell surprisingly weak and small. The hardy folks in the water were doing a lot of waiting for the (briefly) crunchy waist high close outs. Very miss-able in my book.

And a quick glance at the marine forecast (see below) does not inspire surf hopes as we head into the weekend.

Catch you tomorrow!

Weather Situation

A high pressure system will reach the Tasman Sea later today extending a ridge over the coast causing winds to gradually ease. Winds will shift east to northeasterly ahead of a southerly change forecast to move along the southern waters on Thursday, before a stronger and gusty southerly change moves along the coast during Friday and Saturday. Winds will ease and shift northerly again from Sunday as another high moves into the Tasman Sea.
