John Eustace was officially sacked.
It didn’t cause terminal damage, but sacking him and moreover appointing that potato to replace him was the biggest act of self-immolation a football club has ever committed.
Just hope the powers that be (and actually quite a few of our fans who blithely cheered the whole bloody thing to the rafters) never forget the lesson they had to learn last season.
