A frantic search continues for a 34-year-old nurse after she went mysteriously missing more than a week ago.

Victoria Taylor, also known as Vixx, has not been seen for over a week after she disappeared from Malton, North Yorkshire.

The mother-of-one was reportedly seen at her home address and a BP garage, but police have now released further footage showing her last known whereabouts on Monday, September 30.

New aerial footage retraces her steps as her search enters its second week.

Her loved ones along with volunteers from the community and professional search and rescue teams have been scouring the North Yorkshire town, desperate to find the missing bride-to-be.

Police cautioned volunteers to be careful when searching near the River Derwent.

Because that is where the search has been focusing after officers found Victoria’s personal items near the river last week.

Her sisters Heidi and Emma said previously in a statement they feel ‘sick, distraught and lost’ after her ‘disappearance,’ but they were trying to ‘focus on the children in the family to maintain a sense of routine at this difficult time.’

They thanked emergency services and volunteers who had helped in the search so far along with the wider community that has ‘also rallied around.’

The family, friends and volunteers have put up posters across North Yorkshire and set up a Facebook page to help find Victoria.

Where Victoria was last seen

Victoria was seen at her home address in Malton on Monday morning at about 9am.

Later that day, she was spotted on CCTV at the BP garage on Welham Road in the Norton area of the town, police confirmed.

This was at 11.35am on Monday.

Less than 20 minutes later, she was then captured on the security cameras at Malton Bus Station, police said yesterday.

She wore a black puffa jacket and a cap and carried what appeared to be a shopping bag.

That was the last confirmed sighting of the missing nurse.

Search efforts have now focused on the areas surrounding River Derwent after police recovered ‘several personal items belonging to Victoria’ near the river last week.

North Yorkshire Police said it has conducted extensive enquiries, including collection and review of CCTV footage and ‘passive data research’, interviews of several witnesses and land and water searches.

The force said: ‘We remain open minded and, whilst the investigation of Victoria’s movements has been thorough, we will continue to pursue existing and new lines of enquiry.

‘Based on information obtained from these exhaustive enquiries, North Yorkshire Police is satisfied at the current time that there is no information to suggest any form of third-party involvement following the disappearance of Victoria and this remains a missing person case.’

Inspector Martin Dennison from North Yorkshire Police said the search focus remains ‘around the River Derwent and Victoria’s family members are aware of this and the wider strategy that is in place.’

‘The family and the police understand the local community wanting to show their support with the searches for Victoria, but we urge people to exercise caution when searching particularly near to the river,’ he added.
