Nearly 200 arrested in Columbus street racing crackdown
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Nearly 200 people were arrested over this past weekend as police ran a crackdown on illegal street racing.
Operation Burnout carried out by the Columbus Division of Police, resulted in 186 arrests, 69 impounded vehicles, 16 recovered firearms, and one stolen vehicle being recovered, according to numbers released by Columbus police.
Police said 46 of those arrested were juveniles.
