BALDWIN, La. (KLFY) -- A man is in jail and charged with sex crimes after being arrested Monday, authorities said.
Malcolm Barnes III, 33, is charged with indecent behavior with juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
Baldwin Police Chief Anthony Gibson said the arrest stems from an investigation that started on June 30. Barnes was taken into custody without incident by the Iberia Parish Sheriff Department, taken to Baldwin Police Department for processing and then transported to St. Mary Parish jail.
Baldwin is being held without bond. The investigation is ongoing, officials said. No other information was released.
