Numbers don’t lie.

Deshaun Watson reached another milestone on Wednesday night with the report that he’s now settled the most recent lawsuit against him for sexual assault and battery. The settlement will likely ensure Watson faces no punishment from the league, since there will not be any formal charges filed against him.

Details of the settlement will not be disclosed according to lawyer Tony Buzbee, who spoke to ESPN on Monday night on behalf of the latest accuser.

This now brings Watson to 23 settled lawsuits since allegations of sexual assault were made against him in 2021. It also means Watson now has more settled lawsuits with women that he has passing touchdowns for the Browns. Here is a helpful chart for how his stats stack up over the last three seasons.

It’s time for the Browns to bench Watson, as our JP Acosta wrote on Tuesday. This guy stinks in every way possible.

Despite all this the Browns are still clinging on to Watson as starter, for some unknown reason. Never mind that he can’t run Kevin Stefanski’s offense, is playing worse than any Browns’ QB since 2000, and has transformed a playoff hopeful team into a pumpkin — they’re riding this lemon of a car until the engine explodes, because the dudes who bought it refuse to admit they spent $230M on a lemon.

I guess if you’re a Browns fan looking for a silver lining it’s that at this same rate of production Watson should have more touchdowns than settled lawsuits by the end of the season. Of course, that’s assuming we don’t have more women come forward, which is always a distinct possibility.
