Portals of Kedarnath Dham to close on November 3

Kedarnath Dham's portals will close on November 3 for the winter season. The idol of Lord Kedarnath will be taken to Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath. This winter tradition occurs every year, allowing worship at Omkareshwar temple while Kedarnath remains snow-covered. The idol will reach its winter home by November 5.
