Today's letters: Ottawa's garbage pick-up policy won't solve the problem

The per-bag fees penalize homeowners and will cost (with tax) just under $5 each. Will this reduce waste? Not in the least. All it will do is relocate it to commercial bins, parks and rural side roads. I cannot speak to the first two locations but friends in other cities have sworn by these solutions. Read More
