Hudbay settles long-standing Guatemala lawsuits

Toronto-listed miner Hudbay Minerals has reached a final settlement in three long-standing civil lawsuits brought against the company concerning alleged incidents in Guatemala in 2007 and 2009. The legal matters, tied to Hudbay’s former ownership of the Fenix nickel project, have been settled without admission of liability, effectively closing the chapter on the company's involvement in the country.
