BJP candidate Shagun Parihar won the Kishtwar seat in Jammu and Kashmir, defeating Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo of the National Conference by 521 votes. Parihar, an MTech holder pursuing a doctorate, focused her campaign on peace and security, representing families affected by terrorism, including her own.
