Third of Spain's self-employed to pay €1,000+ more in social security

Spain’s main self-employed association has warned that 1 in 3 of 'autónomos' haven’t paid enough social security since the complex new system based on real earnings was launched in 2023, meaning they’ll have to cough up an extra €1,000 to €1,200.
