Team India and Delhi Capitals all-rounder Axar Patel shared some happy personal news on his Instagram handle. The left-arm spinner from Gujarat announced the pregnancy of his wife Meha Patel on his social media handle in unique style.

Axar posted a video on Instagram tagging his wife Meha Patel with the caption, ‘A great joy is coming,” with a heart and baby emoji.

The video showed candid moments from Meha’s recent baby shower with families of both Axar Patel and his wife present for the event. Axar got married to long-time girlfriend Meha back in January 2023.

Recently Axar Patel had appeared on Netflix’s ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and dropped the hint that ‘good news’ might be coming soon. “Yes, that could happen! I mentioned before that my favorite heroine is Deepika Padukone. Since something good has happened on her side, maybe I’ll have some good news to share too,” Axar said on the show, referring to Deepika Padukone’s first daughter.

Who is Meha Patel?

Meha is the founder of a nutrition first called ‘Dt’ and she works in this company as a dietician and nutritionist. She is a popular social media influencer with over 75,000 followers on her official Instagram account on which she shares content about nutrition, superfoods and healthy diet.

She was born on March 26, 1997 in Nadiad, Gujarat to businessman family of Mitul and Prital Patel. Axar and Meha started dating many years back but they finally got engaged in January 2022 followed by their marriage one year later.

Axar Patel has been enjoying a golden year as he was part of Rohit Sharma’s T20 World Cup 2024-winning squad in West Indies earlier this year. In the final vs South Africa, Axar was sent up the order after the loss of three early wicket and scored an important 47 off 31 balls and put on an important partnership with former skipper Virat Kohli.
