September price hike of Chinese steel will provide relief for Indian manufacturers: Report

Chinese hot-rolled coil (HRC) steel prices have risen, shifting Indian domestic HRC prices from a premium to a discount. This may provide relief to Indian steel makers by stabilizing prices. However, rising costs of raw materials like iron ore and coal could offset benefits. India has also started an anti-dumping investigation on Chinese steel imports.
