Along with 15 other new housemates, “rap connoisseur” Marcello is looking to cook up a storm on the show.
Who is Marcello?
Marcello, a youth worker from east London, has joined the line up for Big Brother 2024.
The new housemate revealed he’s got a musical background — including a link to Peter Andre.
Describing himself as “a connoisseur when it comes to rap”, The Sun exclusively revealed that Marcello co-wrote Junior Andre’s debut single titled Only One (2023).
Junior is the 19-year-old son of the Mysterious Girl singer and Katie Price.
Music man
Before his time in the Big Brother house, Marcello also released his own music, including the EP Endless Drive: A Love Story.
Marcello said he wants to challenge himself on the show, admitting: “I applied to test myself and see where I could take my new found confidence and the love I have for the world. I want to share it.
“My main goal is to share the positivity and optimism I have in me.
“Long term, I really think I can make an impact with people and help people grow.”
Cooking up a storm
He also revealed another previous occupation as he highlighted the sides of himself he hopes to showcase in the house.
Marcello said: “I love to help people. I used to be a chef so I’m looking forward to cooking for people.
“I end up being a shoulder for people to lean on a lot because I’m genuinely caring.
“So I think I’m going to bring a lot of love, positivity and crazy, fun moments.”
Love and banter
Asked about what he will bring to the house, Marcello replied: “From the moment I wake up I’m buzzing.
“I wake up full of love. I love having banter with people, I love winding people up.

“I’m cheeky, sarcastic — but also very loving.”
Bro and romance
And on what he’s looking forward to most about being on the show, Marcello said: I really do hope I make some good connections with people there.
“I’d love to have a little bromance, maybe a little romance.
“I’d love to be able to sit with someone and just laugh my head off and have that connection with someone you feel like ‘there’s a reason we met here’.”
