MAFS groom in shock car crash while wife parties without him amid speculation they’ve split
A MARRIED At First Sight UK groom has been in a shock car crash while his wife partied without him.
Speculation is rife that Caspar Todd, 34, and his new MAFS UK wife Emma Barnes, 31, have split – although this is not confirmed, nor will be until the series ends later this year.
And now fans are even more convinced after Caspar suffered a car crash while Emma partied over the weekend without him popping up in any photographs.
Taking to Instagram stories, Caspar shared a snap of his car smashed up after enduring a crash.
“Oops,” he penned alongside the snap on Sunday night.
The next snap was a close-up snap of Caspar’s Hyundai car which had its bumper hanging off.
“A slight altercation with a Land Rover tow bar. Nobody hurt apart from my steed,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, Emma took to her page to share a slew of glamorous snaps from a wedding that she attended, writing, “Oh we do love a wedding,” in the caption.
Fans were quick to swoon over the blonde beauty, with one writing, “You’re so bloody beautiful, funny and classy while being down to earth.
“I honestly hope you meet your Prince Charming cause you deserve to be respected, appreciated, and all the love in the world.”
A second spotted that Caspar was not in any of the snaps, writing, “No Caspar thank God you deserve so much better x.”
While a third speculated, “So you an [sic] Caspar [are] no longer together x.”
And a fourth sneakily asked, “How are things working with you and Caspar? I guess you probably get asked that during question a lot.”
OFF TO A ROCKY START
This comes after the couple got wed on national television as part of the 2024 series of Married at First Sight UK, which airs on E4.
Things got off to a rocky start for the couple when Caspar revealed in a confessional interview that his new bride reminded him of his twin sister.
Caspar explained that Emma and his sister shared several mannerisms, and it put him off slightly due to how similar the two women are.

Each year when Married At First Sight airs in the UK, the show welcomes new intruder couples around halfway through the series.
For 2024, there are THREE new couples, and one of the new grooms is Stephen Nolson, 33.
Stephen is set to marry fitness business owner Hannah Norburn, 33, from Cheshire.
A source told The Sun: “Hannah is wild – she comes in like a wrecking ball and will shake up the show.”
This comes after fellow new Blackburn bride Amy married new groom Luke, who gave her the ick after they had their photos snapped, with another new couple also due to wed on screen shortly.
Meanwhile, the current lineup consists of the following brides and grooms:

Then, on the couple’s honeymoon, things took another turn for the worse when Caspar harshly revealed to Emma that he doesn’t usually date ‘curvy’ women.
NOT A FAN OF CURVY GIRLS
Caspar upset Emma by saying he rarely goes for “curvier women,” but the pair managed to smooth things over with a backgammon game after their argument.
Then, after the honeymoon, the couple moved into their new apartment in London, with Caspar quick to desert Emma and move into a pad of his own.
Last week during the commitment ceremony, things seemed to be a little better for the pair, with Caspar vowing to move back in with Emma.
But it was Emma who dropped a bombshell this time when she confessed that she didn’t seem to have a sexual spark with Caspar and couldn’t imagine kissing him.
