Limassol police arrest delivery driver for smoking joint

Police in Limassol on Monday announced the arrest of a 24-year-old delivery driver after they found him smoking a joint in an apartment.

The police said they found the man sitting in the apartment smoking “a hand-rolled cigarette which was found to contain a quantity of cannabis mixed with tobacco.”

Additionally, the police said, a grinder was found and taken as evidence.

They then searched his work vehicle, finding a total of four counterfeit €50 notes, and re-arrested him in connection with “counterfeiting offences”.
